After early work with companies in Boston, Atlanta, and California, Dave founded Tricord, a consulting firm that advised organizations through turnarounds, mergers, acquisitions, and seasons of growth.

In his later career, he acquired DesignIntelligence and led it for the final decade of his life, strengthening DesignIntelligence and the Design Futures Council as respected institutions serving architecture, engineering, and construction.

Purpose and stewardship
Dave's faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. He and LuAnn joined Dunwoody Community Church in 2006, where he served as an Elder, invested in children's ministry, and led a marriage enrichment group for more than a decade.

Words, music, and art
A lifelong reader of theology, philosophy, history, business, and the arts, Dave wrote more than one hundred poems along with stories and songs. He sang, played guitar, painted, and found joy at home in Atlanta and in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, his favorite place on the planet.

Dave leaves a legacy among family, friends, colleagues, mentees, and spiritual sons and daughters whose lives were shaped by his example, counsel, and faith.
